PURE VOCAL MADNESS​

​

Venla Ilona Blom is a multi-award-winning vocalist, composer and beatboxer from Finland.

She has toured around the world with her internationally acclaimed vocal band Tuuletar and her vocals have been featured in the Game of Thrones trailer, among the others. She has an M.Mus degree in vocal performance and composition studies from the Sibelius Academy, University of Arts, Finland.

 

Ms. Blom is based in Helsinki and currently works as a composer, vocalist and performing artist in the field of theatre, film and folk music. She is specialised in extended vocal techniques, beatboxing and traditional singing styles deriving from Scandinavian and Slavic folk music. She is also trained as a classical singer.

Her new cinematic folktronica album "NEVRAK" will be released in September, 2024.
